Hi Everyone!
I can’t believe it’s been a month since I last blogged. Time flies when you are having fun and when you have an almost 4 month old in the house! Everyday with Benjamin just gets better and better and Scott and I feel so blessed that God is trusting us to raise this little boy. We are certainly not perfect parents and are learning as we go with lots of trial and error. I tend to be a bit of a perfectionist and often beat myself up when things don’t go perfectly. Well, I think God knew that making me a mother was the best way of breaking me of this!! I am having to learn that being flexible is important and at the end of the day the most important thing is that Benjamin is healthy and happy.
We have had a lot going on the past few weeks. I resigned from my job to stay at home full time with Benjamin. Benjamin started going to the nursery at church. We visited our dear friends, the Shugarts, to meet their new baby, Thomas (who is only 6 weeks younger than Benjamin). We celebrated my Mom’s retirement from teaching. Benjamin got to meet his great grandmothers for the first time. We got together with baby James and baby Samuel from church. And Benjamin started rolling over (back to tummy) and laughing!! He also started having some issues with reflux so we are hoping that this will get better. His 4 month checkup is next week so I’m anxious to see how much he has grown! Here are some of our latest pictures, enjoy!
We love to put our hands in our mouth!
