I can’t believe it has been SO long since I last blogged!! I guess it’s time to play catch up. I wanted to jot a few things down, mainly so I don’t forget! Hopefully in 2013 I will do much better about updating the blog. That is definitely one of my New Years resolutions!
Benjamin is busy, busy, busy!! To give you an idea of how big he is getting, at 6 months he weighed 17.5 lbs and was 28 inches long (50th percentile for weight, 90th percentile for height). At his 9 month appointment he weighed 22 lbs, 5 oz and was 31 inches long (75th percentile for weight and over 97th percentile for height). We can’t believe he has grown 10 inches since he was born! He is almost 10 months old and it is hard to believe how fast time flies. Some important milestones include: sitting up (6 months), sitting up unassisted from laying down (7 months), crawling (just shy of 9 months), pulling up and standing (9 months), first tooth (9.5 months). He loves to eat anything we give him, especially Cheerios, puffs and shredded cheese. I’ve been trying to introduce a cup to him but he hasn’t been too interested in it. We will keep trying! He still loves to play with his Chick-fil-a cow and likes to be read to. He also really loves music and we enjoy going to Kindermusik class every week. He will clap his hands if you say “yay!” and plays patty cake. He says mama, dada, uh oh and a lot of other sounds. He keeps me on my toes and I’m exhausted at the end of everyday! But I adore being with him and as far as I’m concerned it is the best job in the whole world!
Sorry for such a long post, I just wanted to record all these things before I forget. I’m going to include some pictures from the last few months. Enjoy!!
